The tragic incident in Pahalgam, where 26 innocent lives were lost, wasn’t just a terrorist attack – it was a deep wound on the heart of the nation. While the entire country was mourning, political corridors remained largely silent. But that silence was broken by Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of AIMIM, and the way he spoke made even his critics appreciate his words.
This time, Owaisi took a stand that many people didn’t expect from him. He openly criticized Pakistan, supported “Operation Sindoor”, and called it a bold and necessary step. He firmly stated
“If you keep sending terrorists, no country will stay silent.”
This statement set a new example in politics: when the country is attacked, everything else – religion, politics, differences – should come second.

“Pakistan Is an Official Beggar” – Owaisi’s Blunt Words
Owaisi didn’t hold back. He called Pakistan an “official beggar”, showing his courage and willingness to expose Pakistan’s double standards. He also pointed out that under:
- Article 51 of the UN Charter
- Article 355 of the Indian Constitution
India has every right to defend itself. These were not political statements – they were the heartfelt words of an Indian who was deeply hurt by what happened.
Strong Suggestions, Not Just Sympathy
Owaisi didn’t just praise Operation Sindoor – he also gave important suggestions on how India should act globally. He said that the TRF (The Resistance Front) – which claimed responsibility for the attack – is just another face of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a terrorist group. He urged the government to work with allies like the US and UK to have TRF declared an international terrorist organization.
Nation First, Politics Later
Despite opposing the government on issues like the Waqf Act, Owaisi made it clear
“That is a domestic issue. But when our nation is attacked from outside, we must rise above political differences and stand united.”
He said his party will continue legal opposition on certain laws, but national security must come first.
Religion Doesn’t Matter – The Nation Does
Owaisi also spoke about the importance of unity during this difficult time. He mentioned Himanshi Narwal, who lost her husband in the attack, but still chose not to spread hate. He warned the nation to be careful of those who try to create division in society using such attacks as an excuse.
A Brave Voice of the Opposition
Today, Owaisi’s bold and clear voice has become his identity. He criticizes the government where needed, but when it comes to patriotism, he stands at the front. He said
What I’m saying today, I’ve been saying for a long time. If people didn’t listen earlier, that’s not my fault.
This sends a powerful message – patriotism doesn’t belong to any one party or ideology. When the nation is attacked, every Indian should rise for the flag, leaving behind all differences.
Owaisi’s Stand – A Ray of Hope
At a time when many politicians focus only on vote banks, Owaisi’s stand gives hope. As a Muslim leader, he not only condemns Pakistan, but also offers strong and practical ideas for a stronger India.
Strategy, Vision, and Courage: A Responsible Opposition
His suggestion to build dams on rivers like Chenab and Jhelum is not just rhetoric – it shows a vision for the future. He believes that we shouldn’t just respond, we should prepare for what lies ahead.
Owaisi’s words tell a new story – a story of unity, responsibility, and putting the nation before politics.
